Share or download conversation content

Choose an export when you need a copy of content. Choose sharing when you want someone else to access a link. These actions serve different purposes.

  1. Find the completed response.
  2. Open its download control or format menu.
  3. Choose an offered format.
  4. Open the downloaded file and check that it contains the intended content.

The local response exposed Download .docx and a More download formats menu. A conversation export dialog in the reviewed implementation offers Markdown, Plain Text, PDF, and Word. Options can differ between a response, a full conversation, and an artifact.

  1. Open the conversation’s actions and choose Share.
  2. Review the sharing dialog and its expiry options.
  3. Check the conversation for content you do not intend to disclose.
  4. Create a link only when its audience and content are appropriate.
  5. Check the link’s actual view before distributing it.

Do not assume that sharing a conversation shares every attached file or gives edit access. Read the dialog for that content type. Writer sharing has its own controls described in Writer sharing.

Downloaded files need a final check for layout, page breaks, tables, and images. A successful download does not prove the formatting is correct.
